Artificial turf on the Island

Turf help across the London Bridge, for homes, vacation rentals and properties near the water.

The Island was once Pittsburgh Point, a peninsula on the lake. When the London Bridge was rebuilt in Lake Havasu City and rededicated in 1971, a canal was dredged across the neck of the point, and the Bridgewater Channel turned it into an island. Today it's reached by crossing the bridge.

Rentals and second homes

Properties on and near the water often sit empty for stretches and then fill up with guests. A natural lawn that depends on someone adjusting the sprinklers can go brown fast while nobody's watching. Synthetic grass holds up through those gaps and looks the same when guests arrive.

Wind, sand and heavy use

Lakeside yards collect blowing sand and get plenty of foot traffic from people coming and going with towels, coolers and wet feet. Shorter, tougher turf is easier to rinse off and stands up better than a long, soft product. Plan for a hose bib nearby so the surface can be rinsed and cooled.

Popular projects

  • Low-upkeep yards for vacation rentals
  • Small lawns and lounging areas near patios
  • Putting greens for guests
  • Pet areas for owners who bring dogs to the lake

Common questions

Do you cover properties on the Island?

Yes. Call with the address and we'll connect you with an installer that works there.

Is turf a good fit for a vacation rental?

Often. It looks the same week to week without anyone managing a sprinkler schedule. Plan shade and a way to rinse it between guests.
